Let it be known that I consider anyone who uses the term "Jew" or "Jewish" as an insult to be a complete, insensitive, unintelligent moron. What kind of an idiot uses a religion as an insult? Do you hear people going around saying "You're such a Hindu"?

 

Of all religions to pick on, why the Jews? No other religion has suffered as much as they have throughout their entire history. The bible itself refers to the Jews as "God's chosen people". Just look how many times and how much trouble He's gone through to save them. Anti-Semitism has plagued the world for ages now. Many of the major Jewish holidays are celebrations of overcoming such evils and persecutions; Chanukah and Passover are prime examples of that. The Roman persecution of the Jews, among the worst, was responsible for the death of thousands. And then the more recent and modern show of hatred towards Jews, the holocaust, systematically wiped six million of Europe's Jewish population off the face of the earth as if they weren't even human. What did they do to deserve any of this? Are they not just another religion?

 

How can any Christian be so ignorant or flat out stupid to disregard the fact that their own religions are based on the old Jewish religion? Our Old Testament is they're whole Torah. Not to mention the fact that Christ himself was a Jew and practiced the Jewish traditions. The most important part of the Catholic mass was originally done because Jesus was celebrating Passover. Mind you, he did start his own religion, but it was all because of the Jewish.

 

Any person who blames the Jews for the death of Christ is completely ignorant and looks beyond the fact that His purpose for being on earth was just that... to die and rise for us. And blaming Jews for Christ's death is contradictory also, are we forgetting again that Jesus was a Jew? Besides, just because a few mislead powerful Jews didn't like Jesus, doesn't mean that 2000 years later we can still hold that against them. If anything, the Jewish leaders who killed Christ were ignorant to the fact that he was there in fulfillment of all their own prophecies, but they still don't recognize that to this day, they're still waiting for their Messiah. And what's wrong with that anyway? Had they recognized Jesus as what he was, what was intended to happen would never have happened and we wouldn't have Christianity today.

 

No Christian who goes around hating Jews will ever make it to heaven in my humble opinion. That person is a total hypocrite and doesn't deserve to call him or herself a Christian, they're a scourge on Christianity.
